Growing up in and around Glendale, Lala developed a deep appreciation early on for L.A.'s distinct history, culture, and architecture. Over the past twenty years, Lala has managed residential, retail and commercial properties in South Pasadena, Glendale, and Downtown L.A., including the iconic Fine Arts Building and the historic firehouse-turned-restaurant, Engine Co. No. 28. She’s also overseen extensive commercial buildouts, mediated building disputes and collaborated with local government to enact zoning changes.
